Sacha Baron Cohen is in talks for a Martin Scorsese film .
The same man who brought us Bruno and Borat is reportedly joining the director's latest project, The Invention of Hugo Cabret , based on Brian Selznick's book about an orphan who resides in a Paris train station circa 1930.
Baron Cohen will step into the role of the station inspector, while Ben Kingsley is being cast as George Melies, a famous silent filmmaker with a pivotal role in the story.

A few months ago, MTV's Jersey Shore came under attack for representing Italian-Americans in the wrong light with all the tanning, hairstyling, and use of the slang terms "Guido" and "Guidette."
Some critics have gone so far as to call the MTV reality program the most offensive TV show ever.
But when it comes to the most offensive shows ever, Jersey Shore isn't even on the radar.

What do our politicians most like to talk about?

Television ratings for the Olympics were outstanding, while web stats for online engagement blew projections out of the water.
Ratings for big events like the Super Bowl, the Oscars and the Grammys were up, and for each event, Twitter and Facebook were clogged with blow-by-blow commentary about everything on-screen.
Is it coincidence, or is there something to the theory that social media is giving TV ratings a boost?

Touching, wasn't it?
Watching that loyal, diehard United hero David Beckham getting the roaring welcome so thoroughly deserved of Manchester's prodigal son brought tears to the uncynical eye.
But not, I'm afraid, to the cynical like mine.

Ukraine, with a population of 46 million, is a multiparty, democratic republic with a parliamentary-presidential system of government.
Executive authority is shared by a directly elected president and a unicameral Verkhovna Rada (parliament), which selects a prime minister as head of government.
Elections in 2007 for the 450-seat parliament were considered free and fair.

After the success of "Borat," people wondered what comedian Sacha Baron Cohen could do next.
His comedy derived from launching his over-the-top Kazakh character into situations where people weren't in on the joke, yet a blockbuster hit obviously makes it harder to find willing dupes.
Cohen's next move was to drag up another of his old TV characters, a flamboyantly gay Austrian fashionista named Bruno.
